Once The Feelies became more of a focused affair after <a href=\"https:\/\/href.li\/?https:\/\/thefeelies.bandcamp.com\/album\/the-good-earth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>The Good Earth<\/i><\/a>, the core Trypes continued on as <a href=\"https:\/\/href.li\/?https:\/\/www.speedtheplough.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Speed The Plow<\/a> (with The Feelies&rsquo; Stanley Demeski and Brenda Sauter continuing to contribute). The first five songs in this collection constituted a prior release by The Trypes, a hard-to-find 5-song EP from 1984 called <a href=\"https:\/\/href.li\/?https:\/\/www.discogs.com\/release\/1708850-The-Trypes-The-Explorers-Hold\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>The Explorer&rsquo;s Hold<\/i><\/a>. Those songs kind of feel like if Eno worked with a psych-folk band after leaving Roxy Music rather than recording <i>Here Come The Warm Jets<\/i>. Also, for fans of <i>The Good Earth<\/i> (my favorite album of all time, btw), &ldquo;The Undertow&rdquo; sounds like a solid outtake from that recording
